Vendors and 2013


In the opening week of 2013 vendors are gathering their sales teams into huddles, rapidly making sure that they are all ready for the big year ahead. Sales plans and forecasts are being drilled down the chain from management to sales managers in all industry verticals. This year unlike any other is going to see vendors really baton down the hatches and work their teams to drive core business streams. New product ventures are unlikely to be strong focuses and everything will be about the core roducts and services. We expect servers and storage to continue to be a large growth area for the main vendors, HP and DELL being siginificant players.
